Mac, I can't answer that one without knowing when Langley High School was built. Figuring that your mother entered high school probably in 1915/16, she probably went to Langley. Where did she live when she went to Thaddeus Stevens? My understanding is that Thaddeus Stevens took in the kids that went to Shalerville's school. Thaddeus Stevens supposedly was built to replace that old derelict that they just tore down behind Engine 30. That thing was an enormous eye sore. If you can get Bryan to check when Langley was built and if your mother lived in Elliott, then she probably went to Langley IF Langley was open.
