Welcome Deidre, You have already started on the right foot by introducing yourself. Next send a message listing, in capital letters, all the surnames you are researching. This makes them easier to scan quickly. Don't go into details with this post, just the names with general years and areas of town where they lived. If someone else is working on any of these names they will (we hope) respond. When you get a response, you can then get into details with that person. Read the posts of others, it will give you a general idea of how it goes.
