    3. Hi Ray, Thanks for your reply about the directories. I guess I am right in thinking that a directory was published every year from say 1905 to 1908 when my gggrandad died. I didn't mention that I am living in England so it is a bit more difficult to look them up but I usually try contacting a local library when I need something looked up. Only last week I received some info on the Tener family from the John K. Tener Library in Charleroi. Which brings me to another question. The 1918 newpaper article says that the Tener family lived on Bluff Street near the head of Stevenson Street, overlooking the Monogahela river. My question is does Bluff Street still exist today and if so what does it look like now? - Ed

    3. New Brighton Look in the back of the Pittsburgh Directories for that time period. The publishers put in lots of towns far away, every place they thought they could make a sale. Mac
