To Carol and others on the list, This error message may be coming back to a lot of us in the coming days. If you're not aware, EXCITE@home was the high-speed internet provider to about 4 million subscribers, including 850,000 on AT&T. A federal judge allowed Excite to "pull the plug" midnight Saturday if it couldn't negotiate with cable providers, such as Cox, Comcast and AT&T. Excite and AT&T negotiations broke down and AT&T stopped service early Saturday. So if you are sending messages to anyone with home.com (as with Sue, our "listmom") in their address, you may get them bounced back. Don't worry, though - you should be hearing from her soon, if you haven't already, under a different address and provider - at least until AT&T gets back online!
