    3. Barb, I was being facetious about Plum Boro. Since they chased the cows out, there is a lot of development going on in Plum Boro. When they run out of room to develop Plum, the next stop for those eastward bound will be Westmoreland County and that's on fire now with all the development going on east of Monroeville. I can remember when the Miracle Mile and the Holiday House where the only real attractions in Monroeville. Now it's a nightmare with traffic congestion rivalling downtown Pgh. I think that may be one of the reason that Rob Cochran is building his new showroom out on 22. 3. Al, In case you don't know it, Monroeville's traffic has been a nightmare for YEARS! I grew up in the Mamont/Export area right next to Murrysville. The Miracle Mile was the only shopping center in that area. I don't think they had the mall in Greensburg back then (60s). Every time we come back that way it's worse and worse - maybe because we're used to living in an area where the cows haven't all been chased out yet! It's getting there, tho! Wasn't there a place called Johnny Garneau's Smorgasboard in Monroeville back then - or was that the Holiday House? I don't remember if it went bankrupt or burnt down (maybe one led to the other)?!
