Debi, It worked for us and it was like that until 1976 (I think), then the district created two middle schools. What was kind of strange is that when I entered eleventh and twelfth grades, some of the kids that were seniors when I was in seventh grade became my teachers. They went to college, I plugged my way through high school, then they got jobs with the same school district. I knew them as students and buddies, then had to call them Mr. or Miss. when I became a senior. Ugh...that was awful to have to do.
