I apologize for leaving out the links the books: http://www.evendon.net/PGHLookups/Pgh1936M.htm http://www.evendon.net/PGHLookups/Chicago1870M.htm Don
Dear List, Thank you for participating in our poll to choose the next directories we place online. In response to your input, we have placed the 1870 Chicago City Directory and the 1936 Pittsburgh Phone Directory online. The Chicago book does not yet have a searchable index but we will produce that soon. We also will be rendering the other 19th Century Chicago books we have. Don

I truly appreciate the work you are doing on this project. It has helped me to find many of my families from Pittsburgh, Pa. I just tried to get into the 1930 Pittsburgh phone book and no pages are downloading - I had no problems last week viewing the pages. Do I need to do something different this time? Hi Norm Meinert has a website that you can find out about St. Adalberts and St. Michaels cemeteries. He has pictures of St. Adalberts which are disturbing. He has done so much researching for people. He deserves a medal. He also has a list of people, not complete, who are buried in St. Adalberts cemetery. Hope this helps. http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~njm1/03stadelbert Barb tipperboo12@msn.com

Dear List, We have just added a 1911 Street Directory to our site. The new book is at http://www.evendon.net/PGHLookups/PghStreets1911M.htm We also have added a link to every page on our site to make it easy to reference specific pages. It's at the top of each page and it's marked "Copy/Paste ..." We also have added example search results which appear whenever you do a search. Your results appear below this example so scroll down to see them. Your feedback on these or other features on our site are always appreciated and utilized to improve the site. Everything on our site is free and permanent. Have a good weekend and thanks to all the appreciative post sent privately regarding the 1951 Pittsburgh Phone Book we posted earlier in the week.
