    1. Re: [PITTSBURGH] PA directions to City county building please!
    2. Anyone having the EXACT LOCATION (numbers) of the City County building please post the address. I would also like to write for records & courthouse too, also. You forget, dear folks that we're not there, & not familiar with the details that's why we're asking in the first place. I used to live there too, & you just don't know how important it is for details to someone that ain't! Grin! By the way, www.mapquest.com has some great aerial shots also for those that need them, looking from a different perspective. & can be looked at for directions to places everywhere, if someone wants. ( I did try to find info before I wrote the list) Thanks, Cathy Raber > From: Al Lenkner <alenkner@stargate.net> > Subject: Re: [PITTSBURGH] Re: PA-PITTSBURGH-D Digest V01 #329 > > Jean, > > You can write to the Recorder of Deeds on Ross Street at the County Office > Building. 1. Re: [PITTSBURGH] Security issues
    2. Nancy, & other listers, Just because us women haven't been trained in firearms, as a rule doesn't mean that we shouldn't be. Depending on the background, kids aren't being taught the do's & don'ts, ya hear about the kids shooting each other here in FL, perhaps we need some "older folks to "step up to the plate, & teach them. The world is a sometimes cruel place, & we all need to stay alert, & perhaps be alittle more self-suffient, instead of "feeling like it's a man's job!" The pioneer women, God Bless 'em had to". I applaud the women, nowadays that take on the challenge of the military, because us women are tough too! The knowing "how to do something" is important in every walk of life". ( I personally have a niece that just graduated from the Annapolis Naval Academy in May, so everyone is affected by this tragedy in a way! The present day women are out there, taking care of more than just their families, & need that extra support from other mom's & grandparents too! I do support them! As everyone tries to get back to "normal" if there is one! 3. Yes, it is....you can probably find it in any bookstore now.....this week's episode was even more moving than Schindler's list, I thought, because it caught the emotions of not only the prisoners, but of the soldiers too....and let me say that I wouldn't wish Joe Liebgott's agony about telling the prisoners that they had to return to the camp on anyone.... 3. Barb, My dad's a WWII & Korean War vet., my brother a vet of Viet Nam having survived two tours of duty in that hell hole. For some reason, watching these movies and reading the books don't bother them. It definitely would bother me, too realistic, like living it all over again. My sympathy to you and your family over the loss of your brother. It's sad that his wife was so childish and inflicted emotional turmoil between siblings.
