Larry, Shhhhh, it's a secret and now everyone will know. Scotch Hill One and Scotch Hill Two, a bridge and that's about it. Not a very big place. my Samuel was born in the 6th ward in Dec. 1852. Are you sure he isn't yours too? We could be kissin cousins
Helloooo yourself Ginnie, I am also looking for a LITTLE, Margaret m to Samuel MALLASEE marr c 1855. The family of twin girls, single girl and son Samuel show in the 7th ward, Pittsburgh in the 1860 census. Samuel shows by himself in the 2nd ward in the 1870 census. I have found the three girls but have been unable to locate any other information. And , Sweetie Pie, this is another LITTLE family and we are not related. TGFSMF Mac ps: for those in Wheeling, that means Thank God for Small Favors. (VBG)
Just in case the @home shutdowns aren't enough fun - those of us on bellsouth.net were without email most of today (at least in Central Florida). Seemed to be some sort of problem with their server. I sent messages out to my mother (from work, a different email account) and they bounced with a user unknown message, but if you kept reading, the message said that my IP address could not relay messages to bellsouth.net. My mother and sister could not access the server to get their email and I could not access the webmail system to try to check my home account from work. So if you sent to bellsouth.net and the message bounced - you will have to resend if it was important. Cheryl M. Gray Orlando, FL Looking for McGowan & Rostek in Pittsburgh
Sue, Absolutely wonderful! I sent it to my whole family. Lori

I'm still here, just being quiet after a week of viruses. I seem to have been sent one from everyone on the list. Bonnie, Are you related to the Funk's from Ardara? Sue*
I'm still here, but don't get online regularly since we are still recovering from our HD crash...we're finding out what got lost or corrupted. So I don't get to "play" much. As soon as I get my ATT cable connection back, I will begin the second MASTER ROLL CALL. This is long over due with the death of my father I've gotten behind on it. For those of you who are newer to the list, here's a quick explanation. I will be asking for blocks of your surnames of interest every couple of days by alphabetical order (this will all be done off of the list) then this will be complied into a word document which in turn will be posted to the list in its entirety. Barb, Good to hear from you again. I soon may hire you again to chase my Painters down, I haven't had a bit of luck since the last report. Sue*
