    1. Marriage Index at Carnegie Library
    2. Amy Smith
    3. Hi Listers - Does anyone have information about an "early marriage" index 1875-1885 at Carnegie Library. I have looked at it in the past and know it exists, however when I contacted the Pennsylvania department they informed me the only index they had was a Newspaper index. I distinctly remember being able to look up the old marriage license on microfilm at Carnegie.... Can anyone help? I would love to look at this index again, but now cannot find my information with the reel number/where to find it at the library. Thanks for your help, Amy

    1. lookup for Lyman Croup
    2. Bea Parker
    3. Hi Folks Would someone be willing to look up the questionable death of Lyman A. Croup. He is listed in the Butler Eagle on 10-18-1932 as having died in Pittsburgh. But lists no date of death. Folks here in his home town of Butler, PA say he committed suicide but the article says he died of an accident while working as a roofer. I am curious as to what the Pittsburgh paper might have and also the date of death. Thank you ever so much for any help you can give me! Bea West Sunbury, PA

    1. Rev. David WILLIAMS
    2. I have a Bible record of a marriage performed by Rev. David WILLIAMS and wonder if anyone might know how I can locate his church. The marriage was between George Richard YOUNG and Henrietta HAMILTON on 14 March 1861. The bride resided in Monongahela Borough, Allegheny County, PA. Monongahela Borough was located across the Monongahela River from The Point. The bride resided with her brother, Richard HAMILTON, who later became a conductor on the Monongahela Incline. Thanks to all who responded to my query concerning the location of Monongahela Borough. Betsy Venice, FL

    1. Early Immigrant RR Depot 1867 Timeframe
    2. Thomas E. Lassek
    3. Good day to the list ... I have a question concerning the early location of the RR depot (1867 time frame) whose trains "ferried" early immigrants from NYC, through Natrona/Pittsburgh (first major stop), then on to Chicago Illinois (2nd and last major stop). I'm led to believe that the depot was actually located in Natrona. Secondly, and once this location is known, would anyone have an inkling as to the Catholic Church of choice for early Polish immigrants in this area ?? Any news is good news ... 1. Sam & Arlene Goldstein
    2. Dawn Golda
    3. I'm trying to locate a father & daugher - Sam & Arlene Goldstein. Here's what I know: Sam Goldstein married Margaret Koptyra. They had a daughter Arlene and lived at 312 Atwood St. in the 1930s. Margaret died in 1939. I believe Sam had at one time owned a "beer garden" in Pittsburgh. He worked as carpet & linoleum salesman and had a sister in New York. Arlene was approx. 3 years old when her mother died. I am ver interested in locating Arlene - was is my dad's cousin and hasn't been seen by her mothers family since shortly after her mother passed away. Any information or leads would be greatly appreciated! _________________________________________________________________ Is your PC infected?
