I am trying to find the burial location in Philadelphia for ALLEN MAGARGIL. He died Christmas Day, 1883 in Lancaster, PA., but was "returned" to Philadelphia for interment just after Christmas. Here is what I know about his possible location in Philadelphia: In the 1850 Census, Allen is listed as having lived in the "7th Ward, Northern Liberties". My guess is that after his wife (Martha Magargil) died in the 1850's, he moved to Lancaster. Please note: the surname may also be spelled Magargill, McGargle, Magargle, etc. Many Thanks!
