To Elaine, regarding Holy Cross Cemetery at Yeadon. I called the Philadelphia Diocese Office, who sent me on to their cemetery one. People there were very helpful, gave me plot numbers of my family from 1815-1940. A nice man working when I went to view the site helped me find "everyone". I live all the way in San Diego, so I was anxious to have the info before the trip. Has anyone contacted the parish office at the St.Dominic cemetery? Does anyone know why the cemetery at Yeadon was used to bury people in the early 1900s? It os so far away from Philly. Does anyone have any specific info on the flu pandemic of 1918 in Philly? Thanks, Marilyn <merinof@home.com PA-PHILA-CEMETERIES-D-request@rootsweb.com wrote: > Subject: > > PA-PHILA-CEMETERIES-D Digest Volume 01 : Issue 12 > > Today's Topics: > #1 [PHILLY~CEMS] Holy Cross Cemetery, ["Elaine" <elaine@cyberhouse.org>] > #2 [PHILLY~CEMS] Glasse - unkown ceme ["Elaine" <elaine@cyberhouse.org>] > #3 [PHILLY~CEMS] Hinchman [Ryan Wheeler <wheel26_2000@yahoo.c] > > Administrivia: > To contact the PA-PHILA-CEMETERIES-D list administrator, send mail to > PA-PHILA-CEMETERIES-admin@rootsweb.com. > > ______________________________ > > ------------------------------------------------------------------------ > > Subject: [PHILLY~CEMS] Holy Cross Cemetery, Yeadon, PA > Date: Mon, 19 Mar 2001 16:47:59 -0800 > From: "Elaine" <elaine@cyberhouse.org> > To: PA-PHILA-CEMETERIES-L@rootsweb.com > > Hello, > I am searching for vital and cemetery records on the MULVANEY family.
