    2. I have an inquiry that has to do with Philadelphia Obituaries. What newspapers existed around 1924 in Philadelphia? And does anybody know if they contained obituaries?     3. Hi, Michele. The papers that I know existed in the 1920's were The Philadelphia Inquirer (still in business ) the Bulletin (gone, but not forgotten). For obit lookups, check out the Phila. Free Library's catolog at www.library.phila.gov You can also write to the Library : Phila. Free Library Newspaper & Database 1901 Vine Street Philadelphia, Pa. 19103 215-686-5322 enclose a SASE and $3.00 for 3 month search.
