SUPPLEE Article Text: William W. SUPPLEE, former president of the Trades League, now Chamber of Commerce, former president of the Supplee Hardware Company and a member of the Union League, died yesterday at his home, 4102 Walnut street. Mr. SUPPLEE was in his 84th year. Death was due to his advanced age. Mr. SUPPLEE was born in Norristown, Pa., and received his early education there. He was one of the founders of the old Philadelphia firm of Lloyd & Supplee, which for a time conducted business at Lacrosse, Wisconsin, finally settling in Philadelphia. He was first president of the National Hardware League. Mr. SUPPLEE is survived by his widow, who was Miss Mary DANFORTH, of Lacrosse, Wisconsin, by two daughters, Mrs. Edward J. WALKER, of Philadelphia, and Miss Olive S.
