Boy of 18 and Girl of 13 eloped and Were Caught. Article Text: Selin's Grove, Pa., Feb. 16--The Snyder county courts will have a case of elopement and abduction to try. Isaac BOWERSOX of Centerville, 18 years of age, importuned 13-year-old Amy NEITZ, of the same place, to elope with him to Philadelphia and get married. Last night, after she returned from school, BOWERSOX met her and insisted that she must now accompany him. Amy, still wearing short dresses, was compelled by BOWERSOX to disrobe and put on a long dress, which he provided for the occasion. This done, they boarded a train this morning for Selin's Grove and Sunbury, en route for Philadelphia. John NEITZ, the father of Amy, discovered the scheme and telephoned to the local police officers to watch the train and arrest both, which was done. They both confessed.
