Article Text: The funeral of Joseph BALAS was held from the family home, 44 North Walnut street, Georgetown, this morning at 9 o'clock. A solemn high mass of requiem was celebrated in Sacred Heart Slovak Church at 9:30 o'clock by Rev. Joseph MURGAS. Rev. F. JECLICKA was deacon and Rev. Louis MORINEC was sub-deacon. Members of the Pennsylvania Slovak Union attended the services in a body.
