William DONNE. For assault and battery on Frances, Wife of Roger THOMAS, to be whipt at the whipping post with 15 lashes and give security for his good behaviour. Glasgow, an Indian. For assault on Rachel CHIVERS, with intent to ravish, to stand in the pillory one hour, and receive 39 lashes at 6 corners of the streets of this city, and give security for his good behavior for 7 years. Martha. Wife of Leonard CASH, for stealing muffin, the property of ______ to pay 4 l. towards support of government, and receive 21 lashes at the whipping post and immediately to depart this city. Griffith JONES. For an assault on Elizabeth ROGERS, with intent to ravish, fined 10 l., to stand at the pillory one hour, and to receive 39 lashes at 6 corners of the streets of this city, and give security for his behavior for 2 years. John HEATHCOAT, Buther. For killing and wounding about 3 years since, several sheep, the property of Thomas LACY of this city, Butcher, fined 25 l., to stand in the pillory one hour, and give 100 l. security for his good behavior for one year. And accordingly yesterday Martha LEONARD receiv'd 21 lashes at the whipping post. Griffith JONES and Glasgow the Indian, stood in the pillory one hour and had 39 lashes each at the cart's tail. Article Text: Run away from Mrs. Aves FRENCH, and William BATTELL, two servants, on the fourth of February last, one is a man, born in Staffordshire, named Richard COOK, a Brick-maker by Trade, and a bold pretending fellow, had on him a felt hat, light wig, short black hair, a homespun gray jockey's coat, with pewter buttons, a black jacket with other under apparel necessary. The other an Irish woman, named Bridget DUNCAN, who passes with him as his wife. She is a well set short woman, downlook'd, took with her a riding-hood and cloak, of a yellowish colour, fac'd with a persian suitable, a silk gown of an ash colour, with small dark stripes, a drugget upper petty-coat, &c. Article Text: Run away the 1st of this inst. September from Henry Pugh, of Merrion in the County of Philadelphia, a servant man named Peter Mack Collick, an Irishman, of a middle size, about twenty years of age, he had on a bob wigg and sometimes wears a cap, a dark cloath coat and wastcoat line, a pair of leather breeches, he took with him a white horse, and an old russet saddle branded with the letters S. H.
