Ancestry keeps giving me new hints <G> And then I found in Pa town church records a listing from Charlestown Meth Episcopal Church a list of the burials of REV WAR vets and it includes one of the two Llewellyn Davis Also getting a mention as buried in the Charlestown cemetery after a break from the Great valley Church was KENNEDY Dr Samuel (physician of General Hospital.; a sincere Whig) in 48 year June 17 1778 Chester County, Pennsylvania Wills, 1713-1825 about Llewellyn Davis Name: Llewellyn Davis Description: Half brother Date: 25 Sep 1812 Prove date: 22 Oct 1812 Remarks: Howell, Ezekiel. Charlestown. Sep. 25, 1812: Oct. 22, 1812. Provides for wife Elizabeth, including lot of ground purchased of Yost Smith in Charlestown; to her, her heirs & assigns; also plantation I now live on during life and after her dec. to my nephew Ezekiel Howell Davis, son of my half-brother Llewellyn Davis. Devises the following tract of land, one called Continental Military, in Ohio, purchased of Robert Porter; also one on Little Miami cont. 800 acres, and one on Green River, cont. 666 acres, called Virginia Military land; to bro. Joshua Davis, to bro. Isaac Davis, to bro. Jesse Davis, to sister Naomi North, sister Elizabeth Stout, each an undivided sixth part, and the remaining sixth part to children of my bro.
