Hello, I am looking for advice about Benjamin Ford, b. circa 1702 to Reuben Ford and Mary Druet Ford. Benjamin lived in the Brandywine hundred and many records are found in New Castle DE. There are some records for descendants in Chester Co. From what I have learned, Benjamin married three times. First wife was Sarah Rawson, the second wife...who I would love to identify ...is entirely unknown and the third wife is only known by "Mary". I don't know if there are Ford descendants on the list, but Benjamin was listed as administrator for two gentlemen, who apparently left no will. One was a James Bloomer, for whom I can find no information and the other was a John Vanaman, whose family appears to have come from Salem Co. NJ. I am wondering if there could possibly have been familial ties to either of these men. Information is very sketchy. I descend from Benjamin's daughter Jane. She has been listed as one of the children from the unknown second wife. She first married ? Williams and then John Golden in New Castle in 1761. Oddly, the Williams name followed her in our family. My grandmother's aunt was named Jane Williams Marley, about 100 years later. Notes indicate that later descendants didn't realize that Jane had been married prior to her marriage to John Golden. Any thoughts on how to find the elusive 2nd and 3rd Mrs. Ford would be greatly appreciated. Thanks so much! Bev W
