Don, There should be some info on Dutch ships arriving between the 1640's and 1664. So if your subject is Dutch I might be able to help. Do note however, that passenger manifests (if they exist now) are often incomplete. Passengers paying their own way don't show up in manifests of the Dutch West Indies Company, but names of persons with contracts to work for the WIC usually do appear. I can give it a try if your passenger was coming from Holland before 1664. I have Delaware Paters (Dutch), and also two of Jaap Jacob's books.
