    3. Alan, I bought GenSmarts many years ago, and I liked it quite a lot. I found it very useful for my research in America. I don't use it much anymore, because I have pushed enough of my lines across to Europe, and I'm concentrating on European research. When I had GenSmarts, I also had a subscription to Ancestry. The Gensmarts program would give me a list of yet-undone research tasks for each of my ancestors. I could click on any of these tasks and it would automatically go to Ancestry and retrieve whatever records were there regarding that ancestor. I highly recommend it.
