    3. >From IMMIGRATION OF IRISH QUAKERS TO PA 1682-1750 Thomas Calvert, son of John Calvert of 'Moore Some', Yorkshire, and wife Grace, was born in 1617....found in Registers of Lurgan Meeting, Co Armagh. (Great Moorsham was a township. in the parish of Skelton, East Division of the liberty of Langbaurgh, of the county of York, about 6 miles from Guilsbrough, and contained 338 inhabitants.) Thomas married Jane Glasford, dau of Hugh Glasford and his wife Margaret, of "Stranmillis, near Belfast, Co Antrim.. Children of Thomas and Jane; 1, John, b 6 8m 1648, near Belfast 2. Ann, b 9m, 1658, in Killwarlin, County Down 3. Margaret, b ca 4m 24, 1661, at Killurigan, Parish Sego, Co Armagh 4. Elizabeth, b 4m 26, 1664, in Co Armagh. m 1701 at Ballyhagen Meeting, Thomas Toppen, of Ballyhagen, Co Armagh John Calvert, s Thomas and Jane, his wife, m 3m 29, 1648 at the house of Roger Webb, Judith Stamper, d of Hugh Stamer and Bridget, his wife. Judith had been b. 3m 12, 1652 Co Cumberland, England. John moved with his family about 1683, to Pa, and settled in Upper Providence Twp, where he owned 300 acres of land granted to him by Wm Penn. An adjoining tract of 300 acres was also granted to Thomas, the father, who probably did not come to this country.
