    3. I can't remember whether we discussed this or not, but in case it's the latter, I wanted to share a word of warning concerning findagrave. I believe when this started people entered the names and info found on actual grave stones. However, things have changed and there are MANY people that enter data found through other sources and who have never visited the actual cemetery or seen the stone. Recently, in an off moment, I checked on my grandparents, and found that someone had entered data from state death records. While this might be fine in many cases, in my case there were multiple PROVABLE errors. The info had been originally given by my father, who, when I asked years later why he didn't correct these mistakes, said "who cares"! Anyway, I just want to warn you that findagrave, while a wonderful site, is not, in many cases, a primary source, and as such can NOT be taken as factual.....just a jumping off point for you to either prove or disprove the data with your own research. S.
