I am transcribing the wills of two men who died in Chester County in 1728 and 1732. In both wills there is the following phrase - "of the Township of Newgarden in the County of Chester & province of pensilvania Glaiser this Twenty sixth Day". My question is regarding the word "Glaiser." It is possible that it is "Claiser." I have been unable to determine what this word means. I have assumed that it is a location but cannot find where that would be. Has anyone seen this word before? Thanks for any assistance on this one. Judy Oklahoma City
