Gene, Thanks so much! It followed that location description so I assumed it was a part of the location. Since there is little to no punctuation in these wills, I would probably have never realized that I was their profession. It makes sense as they were father and son. In both wills there is the following phrase - "of the Township of Newgarden in the County of Chester & province of pensilvania Glaiser this Twenty sixth Day". My question is regarding the word "Glaiser." It is possible that it is "Claiser." I have been unable to determine what this word means. I have assumed that it is a location but cannot find where that would be. Has anyone seen this word before? Thanks for any assistance on this one.
