    3. There are 2 Sterling in PA - One in Clearfield Co and one in Wayne Co PA.......neither in Chester CO. Do you have an age for him, a wife's name, etc......maybe on a census somewhere? Naturalizations are kept in the Prothonotary Office of each county. Chester Co has an index for 1798-1935...but he is not on it. So maybe you could check with the county that he lived in. The Prothonotary Office is part of the county Govt.
