I've been searching through the CD of area wills, looking for these folks, and while I find some of the same surnames and even given names in wills, none are for Robert Mercer, Olive Pyle Mercer, Phebe Mercer or Phebe Stewart...I was hoping, but no luck....no wills for any of these folks and none mentioning them specifically, in any way. Next time, though, when you include a date it's nice to know what that dates signifies....birth? marriage? death? It makes a big difference when searching, for example, through will data.......gives a much better idea of 'when' you could actually hope to find someone in the will of, for instance, their parents. In 'Chester Co Births, 1682-1800', pub 1994, by John T Humphrey, there is a Phebe MERCER, born 11 8mo 1750 to parents Daniel and Rebecca (TOWNSEND) MERCER, at Kennett Square MM. There is an Olive PYLE, also shown there at the same MM, as dau of a John PYLE, but no further info is shown for her. No Robert MERCER with wife Olive are shown as a couple in this book. The only STEWARTs shown are an Alexander and Mary STEWART at Kennett Square who had children earlier from 1709-1714. The only male child was Robert STEWART born 25 11mo 1710. Perhaps someone else on the list has more detailed info about the Quakers at Kennett Square? Or you need to research Quaker records in depth........ Hope this is a start!
