    1. John Humes -> William Walton
    2. Mal Humes
    3. I'm looking at collateral Humes lines and found this, pieced together from other people's trees and from some Census records. Other than looking for the origin of John Humes, I'd welcome any help on the Moore and Pennock connections and any thoughts on the Lamborn name that appears to come from the Humes or Moore family. The Moore, Pennock & Newlin surnames and locations in New Garden and Plymouth Meeting to me suggest this could be a Quaker family. Also I am perplexed by the duplicate William Walton references that show them born 30 years apart in two different locations. The latter one shows a burial in Plymouth Meeting in 1857: ............ +William Walton 1770 - 1831 Philadelphia, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA ........ *2nd Husband of Sarah Humes: ............ +William Walton 1800 - 1857 New Garden, Chester, Pennsylvania, USA I'd welcome any help with wills or other references for William Walton to rule out the possibility that there are two that married Sarah, or some confusion here. The different birth dates, locations and death dates and locations have me suspecting it's two different people and the children appear to be born before the death of the earlier one even though they are attached to the later Walton. The Humes + Newlin and Jones marriages also seem a little odd but the Jones marriage seems to be supported by the 1850 census. Descendants of John Humes 1 John Humes 1775 - 1835 .. +Hannah Moore 1777 - 1856 New Garden, Chester, Pennsylvania, USA ........ 2 Rachel Lamborn Humes 1818 - 1872 ............ +Marshall L Pennock 1799 - 1882 ................... 3 Sarah Emma Pennock 1846 - 1884 ................... 3 Abbie Q Pennock 1854 - ................... 3 William J Pennock 1850 - ........ 2 Sarah Humes 1805 - 1893 ............ +William Walton 1770 - 1831 Philadelphia, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA ........ *2nd Husband of Sarah Humes: ............ +William Walton 1800 - 1857 New Garden, Chester, Pennsylvania, USA ................... 3 Joel M Walton 1828 - 1907 ................... 3 Chalkley J Walton 1829 - ........ 2 Marietta Humes 1820 - ............ +Amos C Baldwin 1820 - ................... 3 Pusey John Baldwin 1845 - 1848 ................... 3 William Penn Baldwin 1848 - 1855 ................... 3 Franklin J Baldwin 1849 - ................... 3 Edwin H Baldwin 1852 - 1855 ................... 3 Marianna Baldwin 1856 - ................... 3 William Edwin Baldwin 1858 - ........ 2 Thomas Humes 1815 - 1884 ............ +Elizabeth Jones 1825 - 1888 ................... 3 Phebe Ann Humes 1845 - ................... 3 Joseph J Humes 1843 - ................... 3 Hannah Humes 1849 - ................... 3 Edwin Humes 1855 - ................... 3 Elmira Humes 1859 - ........ *2nd Wife of Thomas Humes: ............ +Phebe Ann NEWLIN 1822 - 1840 ................... 3 David Humes 1839 - ....................... +Harriet MC FARLAND 1843 - 1865
