Oath of Allegiance listing shows Henry Moses of East Nantmeal Twp., signed 16 August 1778; Jacob Moses of Uwchlan Twp., signed 20 June 1778; Peter Moses of Pikeland Twp., sighed 23 March 1778 and Peter Moses of Vincent Twp., signed 14 April 1778. In 1850, John Moses, of W. Pikeland, became an owner of a grist & saw mill when John Morgan failed to pay his debt to John Moses. The up & down machinery from the sawmill is now in the Smithsonian Museum and the wooden works from the grist mill are at the Landis Valley Museum in Lancaster Co.
