Hello - Who is JAMES MAURHEAD??, in 1721 he performed the marriage of the daughter of Randal Malin, Quaker. contrary to law, and a warrant was issued May 6, 1721 by Henry Pierce, Esq. directed to the Constable of Chester to arrest MAURHEAD....... acc. to Futhey & Cope pp. 648....... I have learned that KATHARINE MALIN married GEORGE TATE Mar. 29, 1721, and she was dis. by the Friends on April 26, 1721 for this, apparently TATE was not a Quaker..... it appears that MAURHEAD was the Minister who married KATHARINE and GEORGE, and I'd like to find out what denomination, and where, MAURHEAD was Minister of........
