Sandra, Are you working on the Martin line? You may recall about a year ago I sought help with the George and Lydia Martin family as I live in a house built in 1743 by a George and Lydia Martin. The house is just outside of Valley Forge Park in Schuylkill Township, Chester county. I would love to confirm that this is the George and Lydia Buffington Martin you mention as I am descended from Lydia Buffington's sister Ann. It seems as if George and Lydia (Buffington) Martin were in East or West Bradford in the mid 1700's. Rather than here in Schuylkill. Geo. and Lydia Martin of Schuylkill were Quakers, they raised their family here. George died in 1777 or 8. His son James became owner, buying out the interest of siblings including a Bro. John.
