Many thanks Sandra. Is it possible to get a copy of this will? Also, I am confused about a Chester County will being reported on a CD of Philadelphia wills. Is there any obvious explanation? You can get a copy from Records and Archives...the mailing address is on the Chester site, under COUNTY DATA, and a subheading of County Resources....you'll have to ask the price, as it's been a while since I ordered one and the price may well have gone up. The will is recorded in Chester Co, and went through Probate in Chester, so I have no idea why it's would be would be said to have been in Philadelphia Co.....the CD I quoted is wills of MANY counties, including Phil. Co AND Chester ...plus a good many others. Apparently your original data about the will was just incorrect, for whatever reason...... Sandra . "s it possible to get a copy of this will?
