    1. Re: [PaOldC] Where to find Quaker Monthly Meeting records?

    3. I found the Monthly Meeting (MM) records that were of interest to me were fragmentary at Family Search and at Salt Lake City Family History Library. Most consisted of births, marriages and deaths. Few had records of movement of membership changes from one MM to another and none had any information of business transactions, such as appointing ministers or papers for traveling ministers. I have visited Haverford Library but don't think I asked directly if they had complete monthly meeting records. Have not been to Swarthmore but have read they do have orig9inal records but don't know if they will let lowly genealogists or family historians will look at them I also wonder if their microfilm or microfiche copies are more complete than the FHS. I am particularly interested in several Iowa MM and plan someday to contact Iowa Yearly Meeting to inquire about what records they might have.
