    3. What Sandra means is that she does not want DNA as a topic on this List. That is understandable, as that subject is so vast and changing that the link she provides can typically get 100+ messages per day. That would completely swamp this List, which is for conventional paper genealogy. Genealogy-DNA-L-request@rootsweb.com is a very technical and scientific discussion group, and would be confusing to many who would go there unprepared. An easier portal to the subject may be found at http://www.familytreedna.com/ or the GenForum site at http://genforum.genealogy.com/dna/ Regards, Eric > [Original Message] > From: Sandra Ferguson <ferg@ntelos.net> > To: <pa-old-chester-l@rootsweb.com> > Date: 10/30/2006 12:15:11 PM > Subject: Re: [PaOldC] DNA > > As I said earlier, I believe we've exhausted the DNA topic, and would > suggest that anyone interested in this fascinating, but complex subject, > might want to join the list set up by rootsweb, for just this purpose. > genealogy-dna-l-request@rootsweb.com > you can also surf the archives of that site, as with all rootsweb lists. > > Sandra > > > > -- > No virus found in this outgoing message. > Checked by AVG Free Edition. > Version: 7.1.408 / Virus Database: 268.13.17/505 - Release Date: 10/27/2006 > > > ------------------------------- > To unsubscribe from the list, please send an email to PA-OLD-CHESTER-request@rootsweb.com with the word 'unsubscribe' without the quotes in the subject and the body of the message
