    3. Subject: Early Malins in England >From the Cheshire Record Office in 1981 came the following records of some early Malins in answer to an inquiry from Mrs. John Walmsley in Vincentown, NJ: "A search was made of Quaker births 1647-1681, marriages 1655-1681 and burials 1655-1681 and the following entries were found: Mary Mallin, dau. of Randle and Elizabeth of Netherton, born 23 Oct 1678; Isaac Mellin, son of Randle and Elizabeth of Hallimore Heath near Barrow, born 15 Aug 1681; John Malin, son of Randle Malin of Netherton, buried Aug 1677. Great Barrow Church of England marriages were also checked for 1673-1678 but there was no entry for Malin." These records came from J. T. Hopkins, for County Archivist, Cheshire Record Office, The Castle, Chester CH1 2DN, Cheshire, England by letters dated 25 and 26 March 1981. I descend from either Randle Malin and Mary Hollngsworth Conoway through daughter Hannah Malin who married Daniel Williamson, Jr. or through William Malin and Ann Laxford through daughter Ann Malin who married Thomas Williamson, brother of Daniel Williamson, Jr. Since William Malin and Randle Malin apparently came from the same place, Great Barrow in Chester, how were they related?
