    3. I found a Cecil County land record: "P. 148 Deed. Joseph Brown and his wife Hannah of West Nottingham, Chester,Co., PA, planters, for L50, to Richard Grifee, of Cecil County, planter, 100 acres on the east side of the Susquehanna river. This land is part of a tract originally taken up by Richrd Gray and his wife Rachek to Cornelius Comegys. Since then the tract was conveyed to Paul Poulson and Rachel Death who conveyed 200 acres of land 2 March1756/7 to Thomas Coulson. The said Coulson, on 6 Oct 1741 sold 100 acres fro Joseph Brown, Mdae & Ackn 11 Dec 1749. Wit: Vg. Rigbie, Jr, and Edward Ricketts. JPs Benjn Chew, John Smith, Rec 9 Mar 1749/59. M.Bondley, Clerk. " I am interested in any more info on this particular Brown family of Nottingham, especially of any offspring of Joseph and Hannah and whether they may have had a daughter named Hannah. I suspect they may be Quakers. If so, any info on what meeting they attended would also be appreciated, as well as any info on other surnames married into this family line.
