The 1765 Chester Archives have only 2 Clintons - James, an inmate in London Britain and Wm, who owned 78 acres in London Grove. An inmate was a married man who lived in the township but owned no land. This is the only area will that mentions an Archibald Clinton.....the only other mention of a James Clinton was as a witness in a New London will. CLINTON, ARCHIBALD.
