Thanks Barclay. I presumed that Abner was Stephen's father, but wasn't sure. The age at death for him of 96 is on the genweb board for the cemetery - maybe a typo, or a mis-read stone? Maybe it should be age 76? That would make him born c1772. I see you have an estimated birth of 1780! 1820 Census shows him in Upper Providence over 45 - so birth bef 1775 1810 in Chester, age 26-45, birth bet 1766-1784 (There are 2 Abners both born in same time period, thank goodness!) So range is narrowed to 1766-1775........ age 76 sounds better, doesn't it!
