Barclay - I don't know this family....I just happened to have a bit of free time and saw the Evans email and decided to see if I could help. I do know there was more than one Griffith Evans. There was a Griffith Evans who was a witness on a will written in 1727 in Treffydin, Chester Co., PA. At first glance, it appears that you have Elizabeth marrying a man 16 or so years older than her own father....and then, having children when her father was 10...can't be so, pal. (this is sort of akin to the "I'm my own grandpa", of silly song fame.) S. "I am having trouble with the time line of this family. Something doesn't seem quite right here. Griffith Evans b. 1735 m.
