    1. Re: Tate
    2. Dutton Family
    3. Hi Sandra - Thank you for looking this up for me, I don't know where my Cousin Alice got this information abt. GEORGE and CHARLES TATE, but she has sent me a descendency going back to a deWASHINGTON in England, just names and dates..... and I did find a lot from Quaker Records but it was mostly WILLIAM TATE, and of course my PAINTER.... I have wondered abt. CHARLES TATE, and how and when he emigrated, it appears he was b. in England abt. 1670ish and emigrated 1682, so he would have been quite young to have come alone, I have wondered if he came with another family, being still a child ? I asked Alice and was never answered abt. this..... and other than the marriage to KATHARINE MALIN in 1721, there seems to be no records for GEORGE TATE... but they apparently lived in Mill Creek Hundred because WILLIAM TATE their son b. 1732 has Records being there, in the Quaker Records....... I wonder where and when KATHARINE MALIN TATE died ? ( the mother of WILLIAM )... maybe that would be a clue....... I just don't know...... thanks again, Sally ----- Original Message ----- From: "Sandra Ferguson" <ferg@ntelos.net> To: "Dutton Family" <rdutton1@tampabay.rr.com> Cc: <pa-old-chester-l@rootsweb.com> Sent: Monday, July 24, 2006 3:54 PM Subject: Tate > There is no mention of a Geo Tate in any of the early tax/landowner > records I have, and no mention of the name in Futhey and Cope (they > mention a ?
