CCHS has both the Village News archives AND the Daily Local News, all on Microfilm. They are not catalogued, however, as far as names go. The clippings are in the file cabinet system and they are catalogued by surname and/or place. If you have access to West Chester University's Library system (or one of the other Pennsylvania state university libraries); the best one (to me) is America's Historic Newspapers via Newsbank, and they have Accessible Archives as well. The Chester County Library System has ProQuest online, which subscribes to many newspapers. Heritage Quest is available online via most libraries. I have found that each county subscribes to different papers via ProQuest. I have Chester, Philadelphia, and Lancaster County Library cards, and while they are all different subscriptions, Lancaster has a lot more newspapers, by far. Lynn
