By 1693 Charles Hedges and his younger brother Joseph, as well as Olle's own children, were in the household of Olle Thomasson. Charles was indentured to Olle Jan of 1679/9 at the age of 5 and both he and brother Joseph were listed as adults in Christiana hundred on a 1701 tax list.
