    3. I am searching for information about George Irey. I believe that he immigrated to this country in mid 1700. I found him in the Chester Co., Pikeland township land records from 1765 t0 1771. His surname was spelled variously: Irish, Erich, Freick, Lirish, Earch, Eyrick and Iresh. He is in the 1790 census and the 1800 census. Does anyone have any information to share? Beverly Lowry

    3. The 1765 Chester Archives; Irish, Geo owned 50 acres in Pikeland...had 1 horse but no other stock. There are no area wills that contain any of the spellings you included and a few of my own. None of the name spellings appear in Futhey and Cope's History of Chester Co, nor on the tax assessment of Pikeland in 1747. I'm afraid I've batted about zero.
