Hello - MY BRICKWALL & a bit of a note, Just thought I would share some mispellings which might give someone else some ideas. In Missouri, my Beals was transcribed as Rails. In NC my Michael Claver was transcribed as Miychall Kleiber. Sometimes we have to be as creative in interpetation as the creator or transcriber was in the old records. I am looking for a James Akins 1753- 1827 family. I found him & Roseanna buried at Old Eagle School in Tredyffrin. I have no idea where he was born or who were his parents. ANY IDEA?? I have about worn out the Pennsylvania internet sites. He had a son John Hamilton Akins [1797- Montgomery Co. PA 1861] Marion Co. IA, who was a shoemaker. John md Eleanor Gilmore Lindsay (father was a REV WAR soldier). Thanks for any help finding James & Roseanna's parents or a REV war for him. He was the right age & lived in the middle of some turmoil around Valley Forge, etc. Thanks Rose
