I don't think we have the wives of John E. Jackson. b/ 16 Pct 1712) correctly listed. Sarah Miller b. 30 Apr 1723, d. before John E.'s will in 1761, seems to be the mother of his seven children: James, Isaac, Rachel, John, Thomas, Ann and Sarah, all born between 1741 and 1755 (I don't have the birth date for son, Thomas, so he might have been born in 1740). This wife is probably correct, though she married very young at the age of 17. Elizabeth Parke b. 1711, d. 16 Apr 1746, so she was probably not John E.'s wife, as Sarah Miller presumably was still alive (unless Elizabeth is the mother of some of the children above). Margaret Hayes married a John Jackson 15 Nov 1769 at London Grove Meeting, but John E. Jackson had died in 1761 (per the probate of his will). So who was Margaret, wife of John E., listed in his will? Any theories? I'm thinking that John E. was only married twice ... Eleanor ************** The Average US Credit Score is 692. Ooops: I see there was a bit of a problem with my transcription in the first message regarding daughter Hannah (of John & Sarah (Miller) Jackson! It should read; Hannah, born 1mo. 16, 1745; married Moses, son of William and Elizabeth Rowan, of New Garden, 10mo. 17, 1770....etc. etc. ----- Original Message ----- From: <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]>; <[email protected]>; <[email protected]> Sent: Sunday, May 03, 2009 9:02 PM Subject: Re: [PaOldC] John Jackson >I don't think we have the wives of John E.
