Homeville Quaker Meeting House in Upper Oxford Township, Chester County, PA, will be open for worship and visiting on May 31st, 2009 at 2 pm. This Meeting House was active from 1828 - 1915 and looks much as it did when it was laid down in 1915. Early families included: Baker, Barnard, Brinton, Broomell, Brosius, Clendenon, Coates, Gatchel, Hambleton, Kent, Lloyd, Maule, Preston, Rakestraw, Taylor, Townsend, Walton, Wood and others. This Meeting was closely connected to Penns Grove Meeting House and the families interrelated. I'll probably be at the cemetery by 1, or sooner if someone makes a request to connect.
