One, my Nathan Frame, was born in England and was married to Ruth Chalfant. They lived in Birmingham, Delaware County, PA and had 5 children; Robert, James, John, Thomas and Jane/Jean. The other Nathan Frame, according to the will of his father Robert Frame who died in 1766, and his own will, lived in Sussex County, DE, He had 3 brothers; Smith Frame, George Frame, William Frame and a sister, Mary Frame. He appeared to have died in Worcester Co., MD and but his will was filed in Sussex County, DE. I'm trying to determine if these two Nathans are the same person. One source states that after the birth of my Nathan's 4 sons, "the father disappears from our notice." I'm wondering if he and his wife Ruth separated, and he moved to Essex County in Delaware to be with his parents, Robert and Isabella Frame. My Nathan did not leave a will, but Ruth filed for control of his estate. The other Nathan had a will that left everything to his brothers and sister. This was somewhat confusing because he was in the process of settling his father's estate when he himself died. Any information about the Nathan Frames that died in 1770 would really be appreciated.
