    1. [PA-OBITS] general question to listers
    2. This may be a vague question that cannot be answered, but here goes. I have only narrowed down the decade in which my ggrandfather died,by searching the census records. I have no specific date of death for him therefore where do I go from here? I cannot ask for an obituary nor death records without a specific date and it is 1900-1910 so SSDI is no help. Any suggestions for a novice such as I? Any help will be greatly appreciated. Amy

    3. Where did he die? If it was in a city or town that has ex- isting city directories check those. That could narrow your search to a couple of years. Cemetery records could also help if you know where he lived. Contact the local genealogical society and/or public library and they may be able to assist you.
