My ggrandmoher Sarah Melina (Moyer) KEMLER died Jan 22, 1900. At the time she lived in Lackawanna, Moosic, PA, but a tiny death notice in the Scranton Times says "Mrs. Richard KILMER, died at Avoca." The name seems to be misspelled quite often. Might there be another paper that would have a more detailed obituary, which might show what MOYER family she came from. I have not been able to obtain a death certificate in either Lackawanna or Luzerne Counties. She was just 40 years old when she died, leaving behind 7 children. I know from census records that her parents were born in PA, but that's all the MOYER family info I have. Any help would be much appreciated!
