I have never done this and want to make sure I get a good response.... and not someone who would be bothered by my request. Especially because I don't just want them to look up one person, but all with a given surname. (GILROY in Cathedral Cemetery, Scranton, PA) What do they usually do for you? Copy the funeral records ? Read them to you over the phone? And do you offer a donation? Thanks for your advice! -MJMell ----- Original Message ----- From: <SPra100076@aol.com> To: <PA-OBITS-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Friday, September 13, 2002 9:14 AM Subject: Re: [PA~OBITS] Philadelphia Obit - STEWART, James Hunter > Terry, > If you cannot find the obituary I recommend contacting the > cemetery.
